Move Hub Rental Equipment

When can I pick up the equipment/bike on the day of pick up?

Anytime! The Move Hub is badge-accessible from all three doors, so you can drop in and grab your bike any time that is convenient for you on the day of your pickup.

How do I return the equipment/bike?

Follow these steps for your return:

  1. Place the bike behind the counter;
  2. Fill out the RETURNING EQUIPMENT sheet on the counter;
  3. Leave any accessories with bike (helmet, lock, charger, etc.);
  4. If someone is in the Move Hub when returning the bike, they will get you checked in; and
  5. No need to charge the bike before you return!

Will I be able to get a helmet and lock when I pick up the equipment/bike?

Yes. Helmets and locks are provided with every rental. The combination to the lock will be in your confirmation email sent out to you with your pickup/drop off date along with other important information.

Will I be able to take home a charger?

Yes, charging equipment is available. You will have to request this in person with a Hub associate.  Per manufacturer guidelines, the bike/equipment should not be left unattended during charging. You may also bring the equipment/bike into the Move Hub to charge it while you are working and use a bikeshare bike to get around.

What happens if I get a flat?

Your options are as follows:

  1. Call a friend/family member to help, bring the bike back to the Move Hub;
  2. Get a ride from Ozark Regional Transit (download the app or call at 479-756-5901).  Ozark Regional Transit is a free service.
  3. Take it to a local bike shop. If you take the bike to a local bike shop, you will be responsible for the cost of the repair/flat fix.

Can I rent more than one bike at a time?

No. At this time, only one piece of equipment per associate is able to be rented at a time.

How can I coordinate a group ride?

Great idea! Reach out to move@walmart.com to get assistance with bikes, education, or tour routes.  We are always looking for bike ambassadors to lead group rides and assist in educating our associates!

What happens if the equipment/bike is stolen?

Please reach out to move@walmart.com as soon as you discover that it has been stolen. We have the serial numbers for each bike and will reach out to authorities for assistance. You are REQUIRED to lock your bike when left unattended, however you will not be held liable for stolen equipment.

Am I responsible for safely securing the equipment/bike?

Absolutely! Theft is a real problem. You are REQUIRED to safely secure the equipment/bike (e.g., using a bike lock or similar security apparatus).

Can I use the bike free of electric charge?

Yes, you can! You can always choose to turn off the electric assistance, or if the bike runs out of charge, you can just pedal it like an average mechanical bike.

Can I ride the bike on the dirt trails?

The mountain bikes are the only bikes specifically designed to ride on the dirt trails. All other commuter bikes should only be used on road/bike paths when able and should avoid dirt trails.

How can I transport the bike?

You are responsible for safe and secure transportation of the bike. We encourage the use of an appropriate bike rack, or truck with tailgate pad. We are happy to answer specific questions, or give assistance where needed.

Is it okay if they bike gets wet?

It is okay if you ride in the rain or transport the bike in the rain. Nonetheless, the bike should not be subjected to rain for an extended period of time.  Prolonged exposure to moist, damp or wet environments cause rust and other mechanical issues. Please store the bike inside overnight.
